Two Individuals Accused Over Heathrow Alleged Pepper Spray Assault

Formal charges have been brought against two men in connection with a suitcase robbery where a suspected pepper spray led to people being hurt at the UK's busiest airport.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, now face two counts of robbery and charges for using a harmful chemical, as confirmed by court officials.

The charges follow an probe of an attack at the parking structure at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, two female travelers had their luggage taken after exiting a car park lift, authorities reported.

A young child was one of the people hurt in the event. A total of five individuals were taken to a medical facility and were later discharged.

This event – described by police as was isolated and deemed non-terroristic – caused disruptions to rail services and the temporary blocking of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a limited duration.
