Aircraft Transporting Pete Hegseth Forced to Touch Down in UK Because of Crack in Cockpit Window
A plane transporting Pete Hegseth was required to make an emergency landing in the Britain on Wednesday due to a fissure was identified in the jet's front window, per an announcement which stated that the secretary was unharmed.
"The plane landed following standard protocol and all individuals on the flight, such as Pete Hegseth, is unharmed," an official representative said in a social media post.
The secretary was coming back from a short visit to the city of Brussels during the flight.
This incident is not the first time that a US military aircraft transporting a high-ranking official has suffered equipment failures.
Earlier this year, a United States Air Force aircraft transporting Secretary of State Marco Rubio to Munich was required to return to Washington after experiencing a technical issue.
